The letter F (and the sound created by the PH phoneme) is the icon for all things fun, flamboyant, flirtatious, flighty, funky, flippant, fresh and friendly. So when the sound combines with the racy, randy, ravishing, romantic, restless letter R, it takes on the cheeky and festive characteristics found in the words: raffish, artful, crafty, refreshing, cheerful, and carefree. No matter what people say about the RF personalities, it always includes something about their undaunted optimism. And even when this enthusiasm isn’t always apparent on the surface, their imaginative natures can’t help but show themselves in the RFs’ unguarded moments.
When young, RF people were likely to have enjoyed popularity in their schools. But no matter how many friends RFs had, few people would have claimed to have truly known them. But don’t make the mistake of thinking that RFs are stuck-up; it’s just that most of them can’t be bothered to take the time to explain their motivations.
RFs have excellent taste in people and a corresponding fondness for the finer things in life. They would rather have one good friend than a bunch of hangers-on, just as they will have a nice couch over a roomful of econo-furniture. Not that RFs aren’t going to be able to afford anything they want, mind you, for like most R-named people they know how to make money and are very capable with managing it. They pursue their careers with the same vigor as they do their relationships
A well-developed reading habit makes them instant “experts” at just about any subject; a quality that evokes admiration and often jealousy. They spend an awful lot of time in their own heads -- soaking up new ideas and testing them on friends and family -- sometimes to the detriment of their relationships, but RFs usually manage to hide their know-it-all attitudes when they want to put others at ease.
Although RFs tend to settle down late in life, they really shine when it comes to matters of the heart. Unfailingly affectionate, these ebullient lovers will shower their mates with affection and support; even if it takes some work to get them to completely open up. Those who bridge the gap will be rewarded with wonderfully optimistic and emotionally complex partners.
RFs may not be the most responsible parents in the world but they are amongst the most demonstrative. And because RFs are great believers in the advantages of education, they will often supplement their children’s learning with some kind of hands-on home schooling.
