About the Name Johnson

Like most people whose names begin with the judicious and justice-loving letter J, JNS people are described as having the kind of personalities you’d want in your doctor, lawyer or investment advisor: innately trustworthy and awash in common sense. The fact that these names end with the sexy, sassy, sultry sounds of the S (or soft C), intimates that these are also people with fresh and vigorous perspectives on life, but it must also be said that when the nasal letter N shows up in names, it’s an indication that something is amiss. (The N is the definitive symbol of negativity: no, not, never, nada, null, nothing, nada, nyet, and naught.) So for all their outward I-have-it-under-control dispositions, JNS people are often prone to mood-swings and even the occasional bouts of depression.

These men and women must work hard to overcome their tendency to freeze when the going gets rough, and most JNSs learn early in life that inertia is the hardest thing to overcome. To put it bluntly: they’re procrastinators. But JNSs take this all in stride and will adamantly refuse help when it comes to (eventually) getting the job done. Although this might be mistaken as a form of egocentricity, it’s just a symptom of an intelligent person struggling to fulfil his or her enormous potential.

Only when JNSs channel their emotional energies into their professional lives are they likely to make their marks in their chosen fields. And although JNSs can hold their own in science business, and law, these intuitive people are best suited for jobs in which they can guide other people to overcome their problems: counseling, teaching, or social work. One thing is sure, JNSs will always choose stability over excitement and you’ll rarely find them skipping from job to job just to make an extra buck.

When it comes to choosing intimate partners, a JNS can be as picky as a five-year old at a salad bar. So if you’re considering taking a JNS as a life partner and they’re taking an awfully long time to commit, it’s just symptom of their look-before-you-leap philosophy and is certainly no reflection on you. They simply aren’t going to be rushed when it comes to such important issues. By the same token, once they’ve decided against getting married, not even the most artful suitor will be able to sway their hearts.

JNSs are high-maintenance lovers… but this is a good thing. They appreciate quality in all things and will yield a high return on your emotional and physical investments.
