About the Name Caerealis

The crisply cerebral sound of the letter C lends a sense of vigor and cordiality to the names it initializes and perhaps explains why CRL people exude such a strong sense of self-confidence. The crystalline features of the CRL names are brought under the influence of the rolling cadence of the romantic letter R and the loving qualities of the letter L, where their whimsical connotations make their influence felt in words like: girl, twirl, whirl, droll, choral, and curly. Perhaps this is why many people tend to associate CRLs with flights of fancy and why CRLs consider themselves to be on a different (and somewhat higher) plane.

If you are drawn to idealistic, intellectual and arty types, chances are you know a CRL. These are dreamers, but not hopelessly so, for they clearly possess the intellectual tools to implement their ambitions with determination and grit. So don’t be surprised if your CRL friend comes out with a hot scientific discovery or an innovative style of interior design.

You can sometimes spot CRLs at a party without even knowing their names. They are socialites… flitting from group to group and leaching snippets of information from each conversation. On the surface they may seem flighty and even shallow, but you can be sure they are busily processing everything they hear and stockpiling it away for future use.

CRLs are the soul of friendliness and they would never consciously make enemies. They take great pleasure in surprises – preferring the role of surpriser to that of the surprisee -- but beware the fickle downside. These are people with a strong need to be liked, and will do or say anything to garner the approval of others. Only when they’re wholly confident in the strength of the relationship will they drop their gushing façade.

In their intimate relationships, CRLs are unlikely to be accused of having firm grips on reality, for many of them cling to the belief that they’re able to transform the world to fit their ideals. This has the effect of leaving some people to feel manipulated, which is made worse by the CRLs’ habit of walking away from problems rather than confronting them early on.

Because their worst nightmare is to be left alone and friendless (as unlikely as this may be), CRLs rely on their relationships to be the source of their self-esteem. This might they explain why they’re so determined to use their chameleon-like social skills to gain their cherished social status of most popular.
