When your name begins with the letter Z, you’ve long since come to terms with the fact that people react with surprise when they first hear it, and that they’re unlikely to forget it. But even though they may play the role of a coquettish ingénue, these are world-wise people with a high level of emotional and intellectual intelligence.
Nothing annoys Z people more than having someone talk when they’re trying to interrupt. One could accuse them of being in love with the sound of their own voices, but it simply stems from their enthusiasm for all kinds of debate. But even though these are competitive people, they are not driven simply by a desire to win. They’re mainly motivated by a desire to improve themselves -- and even though winning is always better than losing -- they’re truly in it for the spirit of the game.
Zs love to dispense advice, whether it’s solicited or not. From their perspective, it never hurts to have an extra mind working on a problem, and they’re also the first to seek help when struggling with their issues. If people get a little snappish with their sometimes-intrusive style, Zs take it all in stride. From their perspective, people only get cranky when they need a little tender care. So when it comes to their careers, their natural inclination to motivate others makes them ideal for any work requiring upbeat, positive attitudes. Preferring the role as a co-conspirator, rather than actually taking the lead, they certainly know how to pull a team together.
Dating or mating with such an outgoing people would seem like a cinch; except that it's not. For the more intimate you get with them, the more you’ll encounter their need to control the minutiae of their relationships. What starts out as an irresistible attraction can easily turn into frustration unless the Zs’ partner is willing to relinquish a certain level of control. But once the power-balance has been established, these playful and sexy extroverts will charm you into submission every time.
