About the Name Gaash

Despite the gruffness of the letter G that dominates the GS names with its grandly glorious gumption, these names also enjoy the softly sensual influence of the letter S. There is strength here, but it’s a quiet, internal strength. The GS is a behind-the-scenes person who prefers to facilitate events rather than directing them first-hand.

With a strong handle on their emotions, it's virtually impossible to get GSs stressed out. In fact, one of the defining characteristics of GS personalities is that they are remarkably competent at solving other people's problems. So much so, that they have a tendency to seek out relationships with troubled individuals just so they can feel useful in putting them back together. Some would call this meddlesome -- or even codependent -- but loved ones don’t care what you call it, as long as they get to be the recipients of the GS’ insistent benevolence. But GSs can also prove to be quite stubborn when making their point and their conservative views can be somewhat wearing after a while.

Even if being an interesting person isn’t the GS’ strongest suit, you can always count on them to do their best. Even in failure, these people exhibit a remarkable tenaciousness that keeps them bopping up for more. And if by chance you do catch a GS in the throes of a failed project… it’s best to never rub it in. They don’t always have the emotional tools to deal with self-caused disappointments.

With their outstanding work ethics, GSs are assets to any corporation or work environment, and take pride in their ability to be team players. Like most people whose names begin with the letter G, they are likely to earn more money than their peers, although in the GS’ case, this has less to do with raw talent than it does with an uncommon attention to detail and a solid understanding of office politics. If you happen to have a GS for a mechanic or dentist, you can rest assured that you’ll get terrific service at a reasonable price.

The best mate for GSs is someone who’s not going to be too possessive of their time. Male GSs, in particular, are prone to making the rounds with their collection of friends and aren’t likely to feel comfortable in the role of house-husband. And even if both sexes of the GS group never lose their ability (or desire) to flirt like drunken teenagers, no one would ever expect these dependable creatures to even think of breaking their vows. They’re far too aware of the rewards inherent in unions based on mutual trust.
