When the letter T initializes a name, it is invariably associated with all things triumphant, tremendous and trailblazing. But the TRV names enjoy the added benefit of the two most passionate letters in the alphabet: the romantic R and the virile V. The R is the symbol of all things randy, ravishing, red, and rosy, while the V is victorious, vanquishing, and very volatile. So when the T, R and V occur in the same words, it’s not surprising to find them colored by their hot-blooded influence: extrovert, strive, thrive, pervert, cavort, vibrator, virulent, fervent, and verboten.
If you’re drawn to sensitive male types who’ll treat you like a lady, chances are that you’ll want to give TRVs a miss. They’re handy with a beer bottle and always up for a football game, but don’t expect them to ever reveal their feminine sides. These are hard-driven men who drive SUVs and aren’t planning on winning any hearts with their tears, sighs, or hand-made cards.
Perhaps it’s their healthy dose of testosterone that motivates them in their careers, but whatever the reason, these guys pile up the kind of achievements in their lifetimes that most people only dream about. Many will change careers several times in their working lives with each new attempt growing more grandiose. They may start out bagging groceries at the local supermarket, but they got a good shot at becoming CEOs of the grocery chain as well. The adolescent TRVs, kicking footballs around with their friends may end up as high-school quarterbacks. Any way you look at it, these are over-achievers in the extreme. But it should be said that many TRVs don’t know their limitations and their dreams often prove too grandiose for their talents.
Is it love or a deep animalistic lust that fuels the TRV’s secret hunger? The answer proves elusive even to the TRVs themselves, whose appetites for the hunt bedevil their romantic stability. TRVs are serial monogamists, preferring quality over quantity in their partners, but when it comes to physical expressions of love, many TRVs find it difficult to loosen up, and waiting for them to make the first move can prove maddening to those trying to win their hearts. Needless to say, this only tends to sweeten their desirability and TRV boys must step carefully lest they trip over the girls that have thrown themselves at their feet. It’s not that they’re particularly good-looking… it’s just they just exude the kind of inner confidence that proves irresistible to many women. Given all this, the TRV sometimes has trouble keeping his pumped-up ego under control. It’s only life’s harsh lessons that remind him that he’s merely human.
