The FR letter combination is the source of the frenetic sense of freshness found in the words frolic, frenzy, free, frank, frothy, frilly, frisky and frivolous. On the other hand, the letter N is the definitive icon for all things negative (no, not, never, nada, nix, naught, and nowhere), and it’s not surprising that when these three letters get together, they color words with vigorous pessimism: frenzy, frantic, foghorn, affront, confront, firebrand, inferno, flagrant, and forbidden. FRN people tend to display these same intense qualities and find themselves walking a line between their positive, fun-loving sides and the nagging sense that something is about punish them for having too much fun.
FRNs tend to set themselves apart from the rest of the world and are very choosy about with whom they socialize. This behavior is less a symptom ofelitism, than it is a sign than they’re listening to a different drumbeat.Fortunately, this turns out to be a good thing most of the time, because many FRNsend up rising to the tops of their fields. People admire the seeming ease with which FRNs follow their hearts, but don’t realize just how much they agonize over every major decision they make.
Ideal careers for FRN personalities include those that give them the freedom to make their own choices. While they do their best work in solitary pursuits, they’re not averse to working on a team provided that they still have an opportunity to claim individual glory. Because their industrious minds are so full of new ideas, any job that can tap their creative energies will be a welcome bonus. But once an idea has been born, FRNs often lose interest in their projects and seem quite happy to turn them over to others for implementation.
Mating with FRNs can be tough,for they tend to be loners (or need regular doses of solo-time). And since partnerships are not on the top of their priority lists, they’ll take their own sweet time before settling on mates. While some of them are better off remaining single, there’s one thing you can be sure of… when the FRNs do commit, they’ll never go back on their word. They may be loners, but they're loyal to a fault and appreciate the advantages of supportive partnerships. So as long as their partners make the effort to balance their occasional anxiety attacks with positive reinforcement, harmony will reign.
If they choose parenthood… of course FRNs will be devoted to their children. But if kids aren’t in their stars, it’s not going to unsettle these independent spirits. Their nurturing instincts are just as easily sated by puppies, kittens, or goldfish.
