About the Name Cinthia

The CNTH name root is comprised of two distinct phonemes with very dissimilar qualities. Although the letter C is associated with all things cool, when it’s combined with the negative letter N, it takes on the controlling essence found in the words: connive, censor, convict, cunning, conquest, and conflict. Thankfully, the pacific influences of the TH (thoughtful, fatherly, motherly, theology, theatre, and theoretical)remind us that these strong and controlling personalities are ultimately benign.

The powerful CNTH personality is incapable of entering a room without creating some level of tension. It’s not that they’re trying to cause any discomfort… their presence just seems to lend an electrical charge. Likewise, if you’ve ever had a CNTH as a friend or mate, you understand the meaning of the phrase high-maintenance. For CNTHs, appreciative of the status that money and fame can buy, have a tendency to choose their friends with material wealth as a guide. But before we relegate them to the shallow end of the friendship pool, remember that there’s little malice residing in their hearts… at worst, just a little neediness.

The ideal careers for a CNTH are those that allow her to take charge and make her own decisions. It’s also not unusual to find these strong-willed individuals owning small businesses in which they express their creative and intellectual talents. It’s a rare CNTH that doesn’t achieve her goals; either as an athlete, musician businesswoman, artist, class president or homemaker.

When it comes to their love lives, most CNTHs enjoy the benefit of having a powerful pull on the opposite sex. For even if they’re not stereotypical beauties, there’s something enormously attractive about their strong-willed personalities. Earthy? Definitely. CNTHs are usually the aggressors in dating and mating situations (even if most potential lovers never realize it). While this may not always prove to be a successful mating strategy, don’t waste your time pointing out their faults. They’re resourceful enough to solve their own problems.

CNTHs are comfortable in the role of parent, and even those who aren’t in a hurry to have children, prove to be capable and unconditionally loving mothers. CNTHs understand the value of a good education, and even when their children don’t attend private schools, they are bound to learn all the right lessons from their patient and insightful mother.
